The Rosebery Lounge, The Mandarin Oriental London

The beautiful historic building that boasts extraordinary character and grace, sits within the same neighbourhood as Harrods, of course it is, the Mandarin Oriental. Renowned for its plush interiors and sophisticated dining, it's one of the most suave places to stay in London. Catering to all your sweet needs this hotel has the best and most classy afternoon tea!

Overlooking Hyde Park, this grand luxury hotel is a minute’s walk from Knightsbridge tube station and within walking distance of the Victoria and Albert Museum. It’s decorated in a traditional English elegance with opulent colours and fabrics, the lavish rooms have free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, desks and marble bathrooms, plus courtyard, city or park views.

Located in the Rosebery Lounge, you'll find a palette of lime green, warm orange and mahogany woods. You’ll enter the ultimate comforting capsule away from the hustle and bustle of London city and find the room is filled with masses open space, natural light and elevating serenity, it's definitely the type of place I could sit for hours and let my mind wonder over a cup of beautifully brewed tea. The large windows let in the right amount of sunlight and give the perfect view of the fine streets of Knightsbridge. The staff were incredibly welcoming to us and everyone within the lounge, best of all they made us feel completely at home with their polite and friendly greetings.

The table layout, as you can see, is truly stunning. Fine bone china with lovely interact oriental designs and the way the food is brought out and served is fantastic! The entire room is incredibly appealing and you won't be able to stop yourself from posting on social media, everything has been positioned perfectly and the colour palette resembles ultimate luxury.

The Rosebery Lounge is renowned in London for being one of the most fashionable destinations. The lounge has an extensive selection of the finest teas from around the world including Oriental Afternoon Blend, Orange Pekoe from Sri Lanka and the Golden Monkey leaf from China, they even have a dedicated Tea Master that has created an enticing menu of bespoke blends that are reflective of their rich heritage and commitment to quality.

To complement the choice of selected teas, they serve a range of flawlessly matched sweet charms created by the experienced team of pastry chefs. The perfectly designed deserts were magnificent and oozed heaps of flavour. The sandwiches were equally as tasty, they were fresh, crisp and you could tell they were made with love!

It's the perfect choice for a friendly catch up, a heart-warming date or a place to spend time with your family. Chatting over a cup of tea and sweet/savoury treats is my idea of ultimate tranquility.
